Artist Biography

 Silpa is a self taught artist currently living in Bay Area.  She loves to explore her creative instincts through painting. Every piece of work she creates comes from her love to experiment with a particular medium, style, technique or subject. She started her painting journey on glass and later switched to canvas and paper. Silpa took a long hiatus from her artistic endeavors while working in the tech industry.

Art has always been a passion for her. She paints everything she feels inspired to. Silpa loves being in nature and look for inspirations in what she sees around her.  Silpa currently works on acrylic, gouache, water color and mixed media. Her current works include landscapes, florals, animals, still life and abstracts. Her paintings have been displayed in museums, juried art shows and galleries.Through her work she would like to inspire others and bring about positive outlook to life.
